Following the quality services delivered to its customers and strict adherence to standing rules and regulations, Integrated Logistic Services Nigeria Limited (Intels) has received about 183 commendation letters from oil producing companies, service companies, House of Senate and Representatives, authorities and government agencies, between 2012 and 2015, statistics has shown.
A breakdown of this shows that a total of 82 letters expressing satisfaction to the quality services rendered by Intels and the dedication of its staff, were received from Oil Producing Companies which include Chevron Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Agip Exploration limited, Shell Petroleum Development Company, Mobil Producing Nigeria Limited and TOTAL Premier Services Nigeria Limited, among others.
Also, while 10 of these companies sent letters to Intels in 2012, 56 letters were received in 2013, five in 2014 and 11 letters in 2015.
Nigeria Agip Exploration Limited in its 2015 letter, stated, “In spite of the numerous challenges encountered during the year, you (Intels) performed excellently well. We urge you to maintain the momentum or more in 2016.”
For Oil Services companies, a total of 90 commendation letters were received in the period under review, showing 36 letters in 2012, 24 letters in 2014 and 30 letters in 2015. The companies that expressed appreciation in 2015 are Schlumberger Nigeria Limited, Dawoo Nigeria Limited, West Atlantic Shipyard, Seadril Mobil Unit Nigeria Limited, Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited, Del Waste Management Company Limited and others.
“We hereby express our appreciation to Intels team for continued professional logistics service provision and timely delivery. This to a large extent speaks of the competence and professionalism of your staff and has also facilitated the attainment of our various milestones,” said Saipem in its letter.
The company in 2015, received appreciation letters from government agencies that include Ports Authority Police Command, Onne Port Division; Nigeria Shippers’ Council; Nigerian Navy (NNS Pathfinder) Naval base Port Harcourt; Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation; National Drug Law Enforcement Agency; Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency and Bureau of Public Enterprises.
“We really appreciate the uniqueness of your organisation and hope to continue partnering together towards the development of Nigeria,” said the 2014 appreciation letter of Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne.
Precisely in 2014, Intels received three commendation letters from the Senate Committees on Privatization, Trade and Investments as well as Marine Transport, just as the House of Representatives committee on Local Content expressed delight on its relationship with the company.
Expressing its appreciation, the Senate Committee on Privatisation said: “the committee hereby commends your efforts in improving the ports, employment generation and your contributions to the development of the Nigerian Maritime Industry.”
After its oversight visit in 2014, the Senate Committee on Trade wrote: “the committee wishes to commend you and place on record that it was impressed by your high performance in equipment delivery, local content, human resources development and training, community-driven effort, provision of facilities and equipment for health and safety of workers, plans to build Terminal for sale and hiring as well as commitment to develop a new oil and gas project for domestic and foreign markets.”
