Integrated Power Technologies (IPT) Ltd., a fully integrated advanced IT, industrial power cooling and safety products and solutions provider in Nigeria with partners across Europe recently unveiled its latest IT and Data Center infrastructural developments equipments to offer scalable solutions for chillers and cooling challenges faced by Data Center Infrastructure Managers (DCIM) and OEMs in Nigeria.
The goal of a DCIM is to provide administrators with holistic view of data center’s performance so that energy, equipment and floor space are efficiently used. OEMs on the other hand, are manufacturers who resell another company’s product under their own name and branding.
OEMs assemble products of other manufacturers especially in the IT and Telecommunication space.
The modern industrial chiller is a cooling system that removes heat from one element (water/glycol/air) and deposits into another (ambient air or water).
Karam Chaktoura, Managing director, IPT Ltd said at the unveiling of the product IPT offers scalable solutions that protect IT, Telecomm, Medical equipment and industrial equipment, to give backup plan to switch over between sources.
According to the Chaktoura, “They are new technologies in terms of redundancy so that when one source fails not everything fails, to make sure that all our resources are available to client’s equipment to work and save more cost on maintenance. A modular system can be pulled out or installed back in case there is a fault in the system,” he said.
Speaking further on IPT competitive advantage in the market compare to other players in the sector, Chaktoura said, IPT scalable modular technology renders good power solution, added technology and commercial values, availability of parts with after sales support of up to 10 years, high efficiency solution that reduce total cost of ownership, and a reasonable return on investments (ROI).
Michael Jux, Area Manager, Africa, Stulz Germany said the company offers DCIM and OEMs an opportunity to interact and engage the latest solutions for Data Center chillers in Nigeria.
According to Jux, Stulz solutions offers Telecommunication Company (Telco) in Nigeria to build a data center that allows their DCIM to easily monitor and provide reports on every data center or co-location sites across that country remotely.
IPT conference on the latest IT and Data Center Infrastructural Developments was held in partnership with Socomec, an innovative power solution company in France , Stulz a ‘digitronic’ software provider from Germany. Other partners at the conference include Ortea from France, and Kidde.
Collectively they offer solutions that provides Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) up to 5400KVA, Precision Cooling Systems, Automatic Voltage Stabilizers (AVRs), Static Transfer Systems (STS), Fire Suppression Systems, Integrated Alarm and Security Systems, and Data Centre Alarm Management System.
