Africa Prudential Plc, a leading share registration and investor services firm listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), has declared a total dividend of N1.5billion, translating to 75kobo dividend in the full year financial account for 2024.
At its Annual General Meeting held in Lagos, shareholders approved the Board’s recommendation for a final dividend of N1.2 billion translating 60kobo per share, having paid interim dividend of N300 million translating to 15 kobo per share earlier in the year.
Addressing stakeholders, Eniola Fadayomi, chairman of Africa Prudential, noted: “Africa Prudential remains focused on driving strategic growth and transformation. In the past year, we recorded a 52 percent increase in total assets, rising from N22.98 billion to N34.84 billion. This milestone underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering long-term value to our shareholders, even in the face of evolving market dynamics.”

She also spotlighted the company’s continued investment in digital innovation and the shareholder experience:
“As part of our transformation journey, we introduced new innovative products and enhanced the functionality of our digital platform, Invearn. These improvements enabled shareholders to conveniently execute capital market transactions, with over N1.5 billion processed through the platform. We remain committed to building digital-first, customer-centric solutions that redefine ease, transparency, and engagement in Nigeria’s capital market.”
In her remarks, Catherine Nwosu, managing director/CEO of Africa Prudential, emphasized the company’s strong performance and strategic focus:
“2024 has been a landmark year for Africa Prudential. With an 88 percent surge in Profit After Tax and a 95 percent growth in Profit Before Tax, our performance reflects not just financial strength, but the result of deliberate, focused execution across the business. We have expanded our balance sheet by over 50 percent, introduced innovative product features, and enhanced shareholder experience across all touchpoints.”
She continued, “Our decision to introduce an interim dividend for the first time, followed by a final dividend of 60 kobo, culminating in a total payout of 75 kobo, underscores our dedication to delivering consistent and increased value to shareholders.

Africa Prudential in 2024 recorded gross revenue of N5.9 billion, up from N3.95 billion in 2023, reflecting a 31.49 percent growth despite the challenging economic environment.
Its profit before tax rose by 94.94 percent, increasing from N1.44 billion in 2023 to N2.81 billion 2024, while profit after tax also sustained the same trend, rising by 87.98 percent to N1.81 billion from N962 million in the previous year.

The Company’s total asset also grew to N34 billion at the end of 2024, as against N22.98 billion, indicating a 51.62 percent increase.
