The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal to improve system efficiency and accommodate the growing number of applicants.
In a statement released on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Board said the portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, dedicated to the ongoing recruitment into the four paramilitary services has been temporarily shut down and will be reopened on Monday, July 21, 2025.
“As part of efforts to optimise the efficiency of its system, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announces that the portal… has been temporarily suspended,” the statement read.
The Board explained that the temporary suspension is necessary to ensure that the platform can handle the high volume of applications being submitted by prospective candidates nationwide.
