Veteran actor, Segun Arinze, has dismissed the viral story concerning his health status, claiming that it is from the imagination of mischief makers.
Currently, there is a picture of the actor making the rounds on the internet, with not just a few, alleging that the actor is facing critical health challenges.
However, in a video posted on his Facebook page few days ago, Black Arrow, as Arinze is also called, said he is very fit and in good health condition.

He said, “I want to say thank you to all my friends and fans all over the world. Everybody has been calling me. As you can see, I am not sick; I am fit as a fiddle and of sound mind. The picture that you see making the rounds was taken on a film set and I don’t know why they decided to use it for mischief. I am not in any way sick. Do not donate any money for anybody. I am Segun Arinze and I am very okay. I will continue to do my work and continue to contribute to my industry.
“To say that some people are mentally deranged will be an understatement. Firstly I don’t know you from anywhere. We are not related neither are friends? And you had the guts to go on Facebook to post a picture of me on a movie set working. Then you decided to tell the world that a member of your family (not me) is sick.”
Arinze is also threatening to sue the originator of the “fake” news.

“I’m using this medium to clear the air. I’m very hale and hearty. I’m not in any way sick. And also to let the person who started this fake news knows that I will be taking legal action against her for spreading false news about me. You have caused me a lot pain and embarrassment, not just to me alone but my family and friends as well. People have been calling me and sending messages from around the world.”
Meanwhile, his wife, Julie, supported his decision, saying that justice should be served.
She said, “I have told him to sue the fool. If we keep letting people get away with rubbish in the name of creating contents, they will keep being stupid. If you see how many calls we have received since the news broke.”
