Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) has hosted the Harvesters Entrepreneurship Forum (HEF), bringing together entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders for a full day of engagement and learning.
The forum held under the theme “Scaling Business with Strategy, Spirit, and Structure,” offering a guiding framework for business owners seeking stability and growth in Nigeria’s shifting economy.
Participants from corporate leadership, technology, agriculture, and the creative economy attended sessions led by industry experts. The programme focused on innovation, market strategy, and the demands of building and maintaining corporate structures.
Speakers shared insights on the realities of rising operational costs, market uncertainty, and the need for decisions based on data and long-term planning. The sessions aimed to help entrepreneurs move from concept to execution with tools that can support business expansion.
A key message throughout the forum was that business scale requires more than technical skill. The HEF highlighted the link between Strategy, Structure, and Spirit, noting that personal grounding influences leadership and long-term business outcomes. Many participants said the sessions brought clarity to common business challenges and offered space for reflection and renewed drive.
The forum also hosted a business pitch session, where selected entrepreneurs presented their ideas for expansion support. One enterprise received funding to advance its work. Dr David Onabanjo, CEO of Harvesters, restated the mission of the organisation, saying, “We believe entrepreneurs are catalysts for national development. With the right structure and spiritual foundation, they can create a generational impact.”
With the momentum from this year’s edition, HICC encouraged entrepreneurs to prepare for the 2026 Harvesters Entrepreneurship Forum.
HICC was founded in 2003 and now operates across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Harvesters Africa Empowerment Foundation (HAEF), its non-profit arm, continues to run programmes in Education, Entrepreneurship Support, Feeding, and assistance to Internally Displaced Persons.
