…To attempt GWR for longest real estate conference
Gtext Holding is pivoting into the construction sector to expand its real estate portfolio and deliver more value to investors.
The new offering is the group’s response to future direction and commitment to innovation in the built environment and investment sectors.
“As we continue to expand our real estate portfolio, Gtext Construction will allow us to take full control of the construction value chain,” Soonie Osuki, CEO, Gtext Construction, a new subsidiary of Gtext Holdings, said in a recent press conference in Lagos.
According to Osuki, the new subsidiary will focus on building and development to add value to its investors. “By managing our projects from design to completion, we will ensure the highest standards of quality, timely delivery, and cost-efficiency.
“Gtext Construction will be the engine that brings our ‘Green and Smart’ estate visions to life, building modern, sustainable communities that set a new benchmark for real estate development in Africa,” Osuki said.
Stephen Akintayo, founder, Gtext and chairman, SACI Holdings, said Gtext has always been in the business of celebrating achievement, loyalty and milestones. He disclosed that his new role at SACI, a private equity firm that oversees and invests in a diverse portfolio of companies, will allow him to focus more on providing mentorship to young entrepreneurs.
“Our private equity structure allows us to identify, acquire, and grow high-potential businesses across various sectors, creating significant value for our investors and stakeholders. Gtext Holdings’ recent developments are a direct reflection of SACI Holdings’ strategic investment and guidance, and we look forward to announcing further acquisitions and growth initiatives in the future,” Akintayo said.
Two of the group’s subsidiaries, Gtext Homes and Gtext Lands, are celebrating their 10th anniversary, which highlights the group’s journey and future plans in the real estate sector. Akintayo also disclosed that the milestone achievement marks a decade of groundbreaking innovation, strategic growth, and unwavering commitment to excellence within the real estate and technology sectors.
According to him, the group is celebrating the company’s longest-serving staff by honouring their dedication and loyalty as part of its 10th anniversary. He said that the group believes in fostering a culture of long-term commitment through an instituted reward system.
“Our people are our greatest asset. Today, we are proud to honour and celebrate our longest-serving employees who have been with us on this incredible journey. Their dedication, hard work, and loyalty have been the bedrock of our success,” Akintayo said.
According to him, Gtext Holdings is also attempting a Guinness World Record for the ‘largest real estate conference in the world in a tent’ on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He said that the conference is targeting 10,000 physical participants and 100,000 virtual attendees to showcase the scale and influence of Nigeria’s real estate sector to the world.
