Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Enugu State governor, has approved the nomination of six individuals as commissioners and forwarded their names to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation.
This was contained in a public service announcement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia, on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
According to the statement, the commissioner‑nominees are: Benjamin Osita Okoh, Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli, Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna, Samuel Ogbu‑Nwobodo, George Ugwu, and Ben Collins Ndu Jr.

“The names have been transmitted to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation,” Onyia said.
The governor has also approved the appointment of Godwin Anigbo, as the Head of Service of Enugu State.
“This appointment takes effect immediately,” the statement added.
The appointments are said to be part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen his administration and drive effective governance across the state.
