The Kwara State government has charged artisans to use the invent of new technology to advance their trade.
Kayode Alabi, the Deputy Governor gave the charge yesterday in Ilorin when he received executive members of the State Artisans Congress in his office.
Alabi called on them to embrace new technology and use it positively to improve their service and business.
Alabi, had while urging them to be innovative and dynamic to woo customers, noted that the future of the nation rests with the Artisans who are professionals and ready to offer services to mankind.

The Deputy Governor, however, advised Nigerians to learn crafts and trade along with education to make them self reliance and employers of labour.
The State Chairman of the Congress, Saad Alawaiye pledged their support to the government to succeed in the task of developing the state.
Alawaiye says Congress comprises 87 associations. He asked for government support, patronage and assistance.
The Chairman noted that congress had been collaborating with the state Internal Revenue Service in ensuring that members, as usual, pay their taxes as part of efforts to improve the revenue base of the state.
