The Gamji Members Association (GAMA), an association devoted to the promotion of the ideals of the late Sardauna of Sokoto and pioneer premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, has appealed to members of the political class not to overheat the polity.
It equally enjoined them to ensure that the provisions of the nation’s Constitution are strictly adhered to in considering various agitations, particularly on the creation of either more states or local governments
The association stated this in a statement issued and signed by Mohammed Tunde Akanbi, the President General of the association; and Abdullahi Olesin, the Publicity Secretary at the end of its Eid-el-Fitr get- together luncheon held in Ilorin, Kwara State.
