FiberOne Broadband, Nigeria’s leading Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) provider, has launched a transformative infrastructure and customer experience upgrade in Lagos, marking the first phase of a nationwide rollout to deliver next-generation connectivity across the country.
The 15-month project, set to conclude by October 2026, aims to redefine broadband excellence with faster speeds, enhanced reliability, and innovative customer service tools.
The upgrade focuses on two core pillars: advanced last-mile FTTH infrastructure and a revamped customer experience. FiberOne is deploying cutting-edge XGSPON fiber technology to boost network scalability, enabling seamless support for smart homes, 4K/8K streaming, cloud services, and Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
Alongside this, the company is introducing digital self-service platforms, proactive support systems, enhanced communication channels, and a new loyalty rewards program to empower customers with greater control and visibility.
Lanre Ore, CEO of FiberOne Broadband, in a statement, said Lagos is the starting point for this game-changing initiative.
“This upgrade is about preparing our customers for the future of digital connectivity. We are not only strengthening our last-mile fiber infrastructure but also transforming the overall customer experience, ensuring our users enjoy the fastest, most reliable internet in Nigeria with world-class service support.
“This infrastructure and customer experience upgrade marks a major milestone in our commitment to delivering world-class broadband services to homes and businesses,” Ore added.
The phased rollout will begin in key Lagos neighborhoods, with customers receiving advance notifications to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption. Following Lagos, the upgrade will expand to Abuja, Port Harcourt, and other major cities, bringing FiberOne’s vision of future-ready broadband to its 38,000 active subscribers and beyond.
FiberOne’s leadership in the Nigerian FTTH market is well-established, with a reputation for innovation and reliability. This latest investment underscores the company’s dedication to driving Nigeria’s digital transformation, ensuring households and businesses are equipped for the demands of tomorrow’s digital landscape.
