Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has adjourned the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council FEC.
The adjournment BusinessDay gathered is to enable Ministers attend the reception for former Senate Majority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, who is defecting to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who is representing the President declined to speak on any issue as he said was heading for the reception.
When asked to comment on burning the invasion of the National Assembly yesterday he declined comment saying he was in a hurry on his way to Uyo.
“ No, no, no, l am heading for Uyo, but I have people who have been detailed to brief you” he said as he hurried out of the Presidential Villa.
The meeting had lasted for just two hours before it was adjourned.
