Dangote to invest $12 billion in Nigeria

Nigeria and Africa’s richest business mogul, Aliko Dangote,  says  will invest $2.3 billion in sugar and rice production in the northern part of Nigeria.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Abuja on Thursday, Dangote says he will invest $12 billion in Nigeria and $4 billion outside the country over the next four years.

He says that creating employment is key to ending an insurgency in the region.
