Muhammadu Buhari, former head of state, on Thursday, picked the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the primary election of the party held in Lagos.
He is to face President Goodluck Jonathan, whose party also on Thursday ratified his candidature, in the February 14, 2015 presidential election.
Buhari beat former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano; Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, and Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of the Leadership newspapers, to secure the bid.
