After two months since the campaign for the February 16 Presidential election began, President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday inaugurate his reelection campaign council.
According to the time table and schedule of activities for this year’s general elections released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC National Assembly and Presidential elections campaign began November 18 last year but the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and its Presidential candidate, Buhari constituted the campaign council just a week ago.
President Buhari who chairs the council with National leader of APC, Bola Tinubu as Co-Chairman will perform the inauguration at the International Conference Centre, Abuja at 10 a.m.
A Statement by Festus Keyamo, Director of Strategic Communications, APC Presidential Campaign Council says those expected to be present at the ceremony are those earlier announced as members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and all Governorship Candidates who would serve as Co-ordinators in non-APC States.
