As international attention increasingly turns towards the rapid development and immense potential of the Nigerian agricultural sector, Nigerian and international agribusiness leaders, technology suppliers, farmers and investors will soon be gathering in Lagos for “Agra Innovate”: a ground-breaking new exhibition and conference taking place at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island Extension on the 18 – 20 November.

“We are transforming agriculture in Nigeria. “Agra Innovate” will be an important platform for developing the agenda further and driving domestic and international collaboration and partnership” observes Dr. Akinwumi Adesina,  Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, who will be delivering the opening keynote address at the event and expressed the administration’s strong support for the event.

“Agra Innovate” will offer all Nigerian members of the agricultural sector free access to a vibrant exhibition of agricultural technologists and solution providers from across the globe. Leading Nigerian companies like Swiss Biostadt, Dizengoff Nigeria and Flour Mills of Nigeria will be demonstrating the new products and services that are helping to improve the sector’s efficiency and profitability. These progressive Nigerian organisations will be joined by a wide range of international exhibitors like BASF, Bühler AG and Silos Córdoba from countries including Germany, Spain, Canada, Turkey, India, South Africa, the UK, China and the USA.

The first two days of “Agra Innovate” also features a high-level conference with speakers from the key organisations that are helping to drive further transformation in this potentially huge domestic and export market. Limited to only 150 seats, this exclusive meeting will offer a busy programme of interactive discussion and debate led by Olam, Famag-Jal Nigeria, Presco, The World Bank, Sahel Capital Partners, IITA, Okomu, UNIDO and many others. These CEO’s and leading experts will be providing candid assessments of the policy developments, technological needs and investment / partnership opportunities in the rapidly developing agric sector and sharing insights that the audience can incorporate into their own business strategies.
