Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are alleged to be raiding the Epe home of Akinwumi Ambode, the immediate past governor of Lagos State.
The raid said to be happening now, may not be unconnected with the ongoing investigations by the EFCC into the alleged three accounts traced to Lagos State in which N9.9 billion was said to have passed through and connected to a permanent secretary in the chief of staff office, while Ambode served as governor.
According to online medium, TheCable, the raid has been confirmed by EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade.
