In the spirit of this year’s Valentine, Dana Air has announced a special Valentine offer for guests travelling as partners on its Lagos – Abuja – Lagos route while another top airline, Air France-KLM, is offering promotional fares to top destinations worldwide during the same season.In the Valentine promo tagged: ‘Let Your Love Fly For Free’, couples booked to travel together stand the chance of paying full value of one ticket and getting the companion ticket free of charge.
In this special offer which will run from February 14th to 28th, Dana Air management will also engage the online community by giving them an opportunity to win free couples’ tickets upon participating in daily quizzes on its Facebook fan page within the period.
Speaking on the development, Obi Mbanuzuo, Dana Air’s head of commercial, said: “Valentine is about giving and Dana Air is making tickets readily available to encourage leisure get-aways for couples within this season of love, as it also provides an opportunity for couples to spend some cherished moments together.”
The tickets can be purchased across Dana Air counters or through its website.
The development is coming just as Dana Air is expanding its operations with the introduction of a Boeing 737-500 to its fleet to ensure that the airline’s guests continue to enjoy the unique and outstanding on-board experience which the airline has always provided.
It will be recalled that Dana Airlines is the first Nigerian airline to successfully undergo an operational audit conducted by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Flight Standard Group (FSG) in conjunction with their foreign partners.
In the same vein, Air France-KLM has announced that it is offering promotional fares to top destinations world-wide.
According to the airline, the offers are on sale from February 3rd till the 14th of February 2014.
The airline says it is also introducing special Valentine games, where winners stand a chance to win a stay in a luxury hotel, amongst other prizes.
Moreover, those travelling with KLM on the February 14th, or those whose loved ones or partners will be travelling on KLM on Friday can surprise them with a special Valentine’s gift at 30,000 feet altitude, as KLM will be dishing out free gifts on board ordered through the unique KLM Wanna give gift service. The campaign applies to all intercontinental flights departing from Amsterdam.
