The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has recorded 2,685,725 completed registrations under the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise as of December 5, 2025.
Figures released on Monday for Week Fourteen show that 1,576,137 registrations were concluded through the online pre-registration portal, while 1,109,588 were completed at physical registration centres nationwide.
Online pre-registration therefore accounts for about 59 percent of all completed entries, with physical centres contributing the remaining 41 percent.

State level data place Osun at the top of the registration table with 208,357 completed registrations, the highest figure nationwide. Kano follows with 159,669, while Sokoto recorded 152,650. Imo posted 145,561, with Borno and Lagos close behind at just over 123,000 each. Jigawa recorded 116,246 registrations.
INEC said Anambra recorded zero registration during the period. The commission explained that the suspension is in line with the Electoral Act 2022, which prohibits voter registration during the period leading to a governorship election. Anambra’s election was held on November 8, 2025.
Gender distribution showed that women account for the majority of registrants. A total of 1,508,559 females have completed registration, representing 56 percent of the total. Male registrants stand at 1,177,166 or 44 percent.
Age data underlined a strong youth presence. Registrants aged 18 to 34 years number 1,974,894, accounting for 73 point 53 percent of all completed registrations. Those aged 35 to 49 years total 488,708 or 18 point 20 percent. Registrants between 50 and 69 years stand at 199,494, while those aged 70 years and above account for 22,629.
Occupational data indicate that students form the largest group on the register. INEC recorded 831,386 student registrants, representing 30 point 96 percent of the total. Business people follow with 492,866 or 18 point 35 percent, while housewives number 449,822 or 16 point 74 percent.
Farmers and fishers recorded 295,079 registrations, artisans 151,375 and civil servants and public servants together accounted for fewer than 70,000 registrations.
The commission also reported that 40,154 registrants identified as persons with disabilities, representing about one and a half percent of the total registrations.
INEC said the week fourteen figures highlight sustained participation by young Nigerians and women, while also underscoring the continued importance of combining online and physical registration channels as the continuous voter registration exercise continues nationwide.
