The construction industry is said to be on the fast lane with rapid changes. This was the takeaway from the unveiling of Axion group in the Trans-Amadi area of Port Harcourt Friday, December 5, 2025.
Catherine Kadiri, managing director of CM Star Services Limited, who stated this said Nigeria’s communities are growing and that expectations are rising. She also said demand for quality and speed has never been higher.
On this score, she said the future belongs to solutions that combine innovation with practicality—products that help us build strong roads, safe homes, and lasting infrastructure.
In her speech, she said Axion represents that future; a future where the challenges on site don’t slow us down; a future where quality is consistent, and excellence becomes the standard; a future where we build not just structures, but trust.
She noted that the Axion group saw the event in Port Harcourt as special moment that filled them with pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of possibility. “We are gathered to launch ‘Axion Innovative Construction Products’, a family of solutions created to make our work easier, faster, and more reliable.
“For everyone who has ever stood under the sun on a project site; for every engineer, builder, technician, and artisan who has struggled with delays, tough surfaces, or repairs that simply refuse to last, Axion was created with you in mind.

“These products are designed to solve real, everyday challenges—giving us better bonding, stronger protection, and faster application times. In simple terms, Axion helps us work smarter, not harder. It saves time, reduces waste, and delivers the kind of durability that gives peace of mind to both professionals and clients.
“But beyond the science and the technology behind these products, what matters most is the future they point us toward.
“Today, as we unveil Axion Innovative Construction Products, we are not just launching a brand—we are opening the door to new opportunities for craftsmanship, for efficiency, and for growth across our industry.”
She said those partnering with Axion were actually building better, building stronger, and building a future they can all be proud of.
Speaking, Okey Eze, managing director, Axion Engineering, revealed that their products were being used across Nigeria and several other African countries. “Other African countries have found interest in what we are doing, helping the construction industry.
“We have continued to level up to see how we can add value to the construction industry, as far as saving costs and giving you durable roads and good buildings. We are here to help Africa as a whole with construction innovation.
“I can tell you vividly that the government in place has been very supportive of Axion because it is in this government that we have been given opportunity to train youths, getting involved in their application.”
He said Government is doing it’s best. “It has tried. It is also under this government that we got approval for our products to be used by the Federal Ministry of Works. What we are going to do as an innovative company is to continue to encourage the government to ensure that such products are being industry and also to enforce that it is being used. It is one thing to approve and another thing to actually implement it.
“So, creating some type of measures or creating enforcement to ensure that such additives are being incorporated in the construction. It will be a very good one for the government.”
