Xerox Nigeria Limited has expanded its portfolio in the printing firm as it introduces two new global awards-winning products that will not only speed up the pace of digital printing but also sparked off increased productivity efficiently and improved return on investments with about 30 percent reduction in operating costs.
The firm, which is a document solution provider in the country and leader in reprographics, office document and management software is fully set to recapture and dominate the Nigeria printing business.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, during the Nigeria international print Expo (NIPEX), themed “Digital Printing in Nigeria, Challenges and Prospects; Femi Abidoye, the firm’s general manager (Marketing), said the products were introduced to simplify and ease the process of both mono and full-colour digital printing, especially in the production printing environments.“The products were manufactured to meet the yearnings of printers worldwide, as a result of continuous research in the printing industry,” he said.
Speaking on the quality of the product, Femi said stated that the products come with extra features of scanning, printing and copying capability with high degree of environmental friendliness.
“The two products have been hinged on cost reductions and production efficiency among its unique versatility, scalability and exceptional application”, he added. According to Abidoye, the Xerox Colour press C75 and Xerox D110 (monochrome) can print 70 and 120 sheets in a minute, respectively.
Okunade, during the interactive section with stakeholders in the Nigeria printing, buttressed that Xerox connect key technology is the best thing that ever happen in the ICT global arena that make printing available at lightning speed aside the high end printing technology that the products provides.
Okunade reiterated the vision of the firm in this 21st century to make printing business simple for both old and new entrants through innovative and technological advancements at the global rate without compromising quality.
“Xerox is set to strengthen her branch network across Nigeria through direct and indirect partnership and this is possible because, the firm is service led but technologically driven,” he stated.
Xerox has gone far even to support the educational sector in typing, printing and marking of examination script. West African Examination Commission (WAEC) among other tertiary institutions are using the printing machines and it had proved to be efficient and effective in typing and marking examination scripts, he added.
