South Africa’s Business Connexion Group says it has acquired a 100 percent holding in Nigerian IT firm Panabiz initiated as part of a reorganisation process to advance its positioning as a globalplayer with a key focus on Africa.
Panabiz Nigeria is a Managed Print Services (MPS) company operating in West Africa and is a well-established distributor of Canon in the region.Previously part of Singapore-headquartered Tolaram Group, Panabiz employs 8,000 people globally and has existing Managed Print Service and Annual Maintenance Service contracts.
The two to three year inherited contracts have laid a solid foundation of annuity revenue, gearing it for significant growth in the market.
The Panabiz team of 60 staff members is expected to join Business Connexion Nigeria’s 140-member team based in Lagos.
