PremiumTrust Bank announced on Thursday that it had expanded its operations with the commencement of business in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The lender said in a statement that the Ibadan branch was inaugurated on Tuesday, bringing the number of branches opened by it to 11 since it started full banking operations 20 months ago.
It said the new branch “is well-equipped with state-of-the-art digital facilities and will offer a full range of banking services to suit customer needs whilst ensuring seamless execution of banking transactions”.
Emmanuel Emefienim, managing director/chief executive officer of PremiumTrust Bank, expressed the bank’s determination to create products and solutions that meet the needs of customers in various parts of the country.

“We are very swift with our services and once we know what a customer wants, we promptly agree on the solution to deploy in a very timely manner to serve the needs of customers,” he said.

Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, commended the bank for the achievement and expressed readiness to expand the state’s economy through a long-lasting partnership with PremiumTrust Bank, according to the statement.
He was quoted as saying at the inauguration of the branch that the presence of PremiumTrust Bank will strengthen the state’s financial ecosystem and promote financial inclusion for all economic players.
