NIPC CEO assumes duties, hosts Investment delegates from Cote d’Ivoire

Yewande Sadiku,the new Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission,(NIPC) has assumed duties on Tuesday  in Abuja

The new Executive Secretary in her first activity at the Commission according to a statement from NIPC played host to investment delegation from Cote D’Ivoire led by  Alla Emma Sombo from the Ministry of Commerce.

The delegation are in Nigeria to undertake promotion mission for the third Edition of Abidjan International Fair (FIA) which had the theme “Entrepreneurship a solution to unemployment and fight against poverty” that is scheduled to hold next year.

The NIPC boss in the statement  solicited the Commission’s support in the mobilization of Nigerian businessmen and Companies to attend the fair in large numbers, stressing that Nigeria stands to benefit as the investment opportunities in the country will be showcased to potential investors from other parts of Africa.

The Executive Secretary  described the theme of the fair as very apt and timely as it will be of great value and benefits to Nigerians who are known to be industrious.

She promised to work with them for a successful outing at the fair and enjoined them to visit other relevant agencies to solicit for more participation.
