As part of its continuous effort in making this yuletide a memorable one for Nigerians through its on-going ‘Season of Surprises’ campaign, leading ICT and telecommunications company, MTN, is set to put a smile on the face of a lucky Nigerian, as the company will give out a house worth N50m in the next few weeks.
Riding on the MTN sponsored TV game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (WWTBAM), a special episode of the series, tagged ‘Who Deserves To Be Surprised’ (WDTBS)’, has been created to serve as a platform through which the lucky Nigerian will emerge.
In the past few weeks, MTN has been encouraging people to nominate someone who have positively influenced their lives and contributed immensely to make them who they are today. Already, Nigerians from various walks of life have been nominated through the on-line platform dedicated to this course.
Amongst the many nominated, eight nominees with the most compelling stories were picked by the organizers. The ‘eight’ now stand the chance of receiving the biggest surprise so far, in the ‘Season of Surprises’ campaign as they will not only have a chance to make it to the hot seat and play for N10M, but one of them must smile home with a surprise gift of a N50M house from MTN.
Airing of these special episodes will take place on Sunday 21st December and Sunday 28th December 2014 on TV stations across the country.
The MTN Season of Surprises campaign which commenced since November 1, 2014 has produced lot of exciting moments. The campaign has seen interesting surprises ranging from ambassadors attending to customers at MTN’s Service Centers to Nigerian music stars boarding BRT buses in Lagos and giving out gifts. Some MTN ambassadors and other music stars have also paid surprise visits to students in various higher institutions of learning in Nigeria, giving out mouth-watering gifts in the process.
