In line with MoneyGram commitment to advance its leadership in global compliance, the company organised a series of Regional Compliance Conferences, with the second which took place on March 6-7 in Lagos, Nigeria at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This is a part of the company’s continuous efforts to develop best-in-class compliance solutions and protect customers using its money transfer services around the globe.

The event which was attended by industry experts was hosted by Andres Villareal, MoneyGram’s Chief Compliance Officer and Kemi Okusanya, MoneyGram’s head of Anglophone Africa.
Also among attendees were representatives of Nigerian Economic Financial Crime Commission, as well as and key agents from West Africa region.
During the two-day conference, MoneyGram experts representing various offices delivered several presentations covering such topics as fraud detection, prevention and management; cyber fraud and the changing landscape of compliance in Africa and globally in the digital era. The event showcased how MoneyGram’s compliance program continues to evolve and adapt to current and future regulatory expectations.
