Lagos Business School has announced its acceptance of the GRE Revised General Test as one of the written assessments qualifying applicants for participation in its 2015 full – time MBA (FTMBA) programme.
With this development, FTMBA applicants have the option of either submitting the GRE or the official GMAT ahead of the closure of the 2015 admissions process on 21 August.
The GRE Revised General Test measures verbal and quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills that have been developed over a long period of time and are required for success in graduate and business school. It is accepted by thousands of business schools across the world including Harvard Business School, IESE Business School and Yale University.
MBA Director Dr Uchenna Uzo explained that the move was an expression of LBS’ commitment to not only welcoming but also developing smart and high-profile candidates willing to be part of a world-class MBA programme.
“We are confident that this initiative would strengthen the international recognition given to our MBA candidates and also broaden the disciplinary diversity of our applicants, ” he assured.
With this additional form of written assessment, applicants for LBS’ Modular and Executive MBA programmes also have the choice of writing the GRE, GMAT or the School’s entrance examination.
