Expectations as Fine & Country gathers experts to offer insights on real estate in 2018

Expectations are high in the Nigerian real estate sector that when experts gather for a one-day summit being organized by Fine and Country West Africa, a leading real estate marketing and leasing agent, they will  offer useful insights on the outlook for the sector in 2018.

The Economic and Real Estate Outlook, which the company is packaging in collaboration with the Lagos Business School, promises a platform that will provide real estate investment information which, the company believes, can give potential investors the power to make life-changing investment decisions.

Right now, there’s no better place to get this information than the 2018 Economic and Real Estate Outlook”, a statement from the company says.

According to the statement, the outlook series which is already in its 5th edition, also presents a  platform to set the tone for the year in the real estate industry as experts deliberate on the impact of the current economic and political climate on the real estate industry in 2018, the winning strategies in the current economic climate and also to identify the trends and opportunities in the industry.

The event with the theme, ‘Navigating Change: Real Estate and Economic Outlook 2018’ promises an  opportunity to start looking for potential real estate investments and will, in response to popular demand, be featuring an exhibition from pre-qualified developers showcasing Nigeria’s best real estate opportunities for 2018. The exhibition will provide many opportunities for investors to obtain properties at bargain prices.

Expected to offer insights into the sector are seasoned professionals and players who have deep understanding of the sector. They include Hakeem Ogunniran, MD, UACN Property Development Company (UPDC) and  Andrea Geday, MD, Elalan Construction who will be leading panel discussions on ‘Real Estate, Real Disruption’.

Timothy Nubi, a leading authority on housing will also be on the panel conversations on the ‘Residential and Commercial Trends and Opportunities in 2018’. Nubi will be joined by Paul Onwuanibe, CEO, Landmark Group, who will share his experience and prediction for commercial real estate.

Adeniyi Adeleye, Head, Real Estate Finance at  Stanbic IBTC Capital will also be speaking along with  We Ben Akaneme,  MD, Imperial Homes. Bolaji Balogun of Chapel Hill Denham will also speak at the event which promises to provide valuable insights on how to access real estate finance in Nigeria.
