African Alliance Insurance, one of the country life underwriting firms, has underscored its commitment to sustain good reputation for excellent customer service delivery and prompt claims settlement. This, the company believe, is one vantage way to instill confidence in Nigerians and remove apathy from insurance services.

Alphonse Okpor, managing director of the company, said since inception, the company had thrived on the platform of qualitative customer service delivery. The brand does not only have focus on quality service delivery, but also places high premium on delighting the customers. It has been able to secure greater levels of loyalty from its customers through dynamic service delivery, Okpor said.

African Alliance, according to him, is the first indigenous insurance company to carry out the business of life assurance in Nigeria. This puts the company in foremost position to build integrity, reputation and write corporate identity. “It has remained a reference point for maintaining a solid pedigree as a forward looking and vibrant organisation,” he said.

Okpor added further that the company had over the years re-invented the rules of customer service, having developed a strategic blueprint to position itself as a one-stop shop for excellent customer service.

“African Alliance has a mission to sustain the quality of life and it has not reneged on this premix to provide customer centric service while also raising the bar of service delivery,” the company stated.

According to Okpor, the brand has achieved its corporate existence on a strategic roadmap to deepen consumer experiences. “It has been able to determine its service delivery portfolio and review it on consistent basis, and this clearly aligns with the brand values of prompt responsiveness, resilience, quality service, trustworthiness, transparency and reliability.

African Alliance has also endeavored to position itself through innovative product development and one of such is its status as the first licensed operator for Islamic insurance in the country. The concept was borne out of the need to satisfy the desires and meet the expectations of those who faith do not align with conventional insurance principles.
