Michael Ayanleke Banjo, the Secretary General, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, has urged Catholic youth organisations to use their digital platforms as agents of change by always telling the truth with courage.
He made this known at the just concluded Youth Digital Power Bootcamp organised by the youth unit of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria under auspices of the Pastoral Agents department.
Themed, ‘Equipping Youth with Media Skills for Influence, Innovation and Impact,’ the week-long bootcamp was held at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja. The skill acquisition programme had in attendance representatives from various Catholic Archdioceses and Dioceses.
According to Banjo, the week-long bootcamp aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 8, and 10, which focuses on ending poverty and hunger, promoting decent work and economic growth, and reducing inequalities.
