Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has labelled Neymar the ‘complete player’ and says he will reserve the forward a locker should he move to Bernabeu this summer.
The Brazil superstar has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital, despite only last year joining Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona for a world record £198million fee.
Both Carvajal and Neymar are currently on international duty with their respective nations in Russia but the Spain defender has said he would welcome the forward at the Bernabeu – despite their previous tussles in El Clasico.
“If he was born to play in Madrid, I don’t know,” he told Cadena SER.
“Madrid always want the best in the world. If the president is determined to sign him, we will have to save a locker.”
The two players could yet face each other at the World Cup after both Spain and Brazil secured safe passage to the last-16.
Neymar has scored once in Russia to help Tite’s side top Group E, while Carvajal has played in all three games as Spain progressed from Group B.
