Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on Wednesday announced that the state has achieved over 70 per cent budget execution for the 2025 fiscal year, with revenue generation surpassing initial projections.
Speaking at the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting in Government House, Bauchi, the governor described the performance as a sign of a robust fiscal outlook and a promising economic future for the state.

He credited the progress to strict budgetary discipline and prudent financial management, stressing that education, health, and agriculture remain priority sectors in his administration’s development agenda.
Mohammed also disclosed that the government is pursuing strategic partnerships with international development agencies to attract resources and technical expertise to accelerate key projects.
“The impressive budget performance and focused development agenda underscore our administration’s commitment to delivering tangible improvements and fostering sustainable growth for the people of Bauchi State,” he said.
