NMA selects Jury for 2025 edition, gets NIPR endorsement

The Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA), has announced members of its Awards Decision Council (ADC), for this year’s edition of the event.

Comprising of marketing practitioners, drawn from brands, agencies, media, Public Relations (PR), experiential, and regulation, the Council, to be led by the CEO, Entod Marketing Ltd, Iquo Ukoh, is saddled with the responsibilities of safeguarding the Awards’ transparency and rigour, while also setting benchmarks for creativity and marketing excellence in Nigeria.

The Awards also, recently, received a boost when it secured a representation of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Tokunboh George-Taylor on its Council, bringing to six, the number of professional bodies on the Council.

Others include: Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN), and Out –of Home Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN).

Speaking on the development, Tony Agenmonmen, Founder of the Awards described the unveiling of the 2025 ADC and NIPR’s endorsement as marking another milestone in NMA’s journey at building the most credible marketing Award in the country.

Other members of the Council are: Nsima Ogedi-Alakwe, Chief Marketing Officer at Lagos Business School and Secretary of the Council; Nkechi Ali-Balogun, Principal Consultant at NECCI Consulting and Founder of the NECCI PR Roundtable; Babs Fagade, Chairman of Nimbus Media Limited, representing OAAN; Bunmi Oke, CEO, Ladybird Limited; Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of Big Cabal Media, publishers of TechCabal and Zikoko; Feyi Olubodun, Founder of Open Squares Africa, author of The Villager; Martha Onyebuchi, Director of Regulations at ARCON; Tokunboh George-Taylor, Founder/CEO of SKOT Communications and NIPR nominee; Angela Ukara-Makinwa, Director at EXP Marketing, and Vice President,

EXMAN; Anthony Ekun, Executive Creative Director at SO&U, representing AAAN; and Blossom Ogechi Ozurumba, Deputy Manager, Digital Engagement at NNPC Limited.
