Beveledge Designs has opened a new flagship showroom in Ajah, Lagos, marking a step forward in its expansion plans across the state. The opening reflects the interior design company’s effort to reach more clients in Lekki, Ajah and neighbouring areas.
Speaking at the launch event, Omowunmi Ogunye, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Beveledge Designs, said the development responds to growing requests from clients for easier access to the company’s services. “The opening of our Ajah showroom marks a pivotal moment for Beveledge Designs as we continue to democratise access to exceptional interior design services. This location was strategically chosen to serve our growing clientele in Lekki, Ajah, and surrounding areas who have long requested a more accessible outlet for our services,” she said.
The new showroom, located within Ajah’s busy commercial hub houses displays of contemporary furniture, bespoke lighting, textiles and home accessories
The facility has also been structured to give clients a complete experience of interior concepts, supported by consultation services with Beveledge’s in-house design team.
The showroom includes dedicated areas for both residential and commercial solutions, with sections for smart home integration and sustainable design. It also features room-by-room layouts that highlight Beveledge’s design method of blending functionality and visual appeal, achieved through partnerships with international and local manufacturers.
Ogunye added that the showroom would ease the strain of travel for clients who previously had to visit the company’s other outlets. “We recognised that our clients in this region were travelling considerable distances to visit our other locations. The Ajah showroom eliminates this barrier whilst maintaining the same high standards of service and product quality that Beveledge Designs is renowned for. We are particularly excited about our expanded consultation spaces, which will allow us to work more closely with clients on their individual projects,” she said.
The opening comes as Nigeria’s interior design industry records growth, supported by urbanisation and higher spending on home and office improvement. Beveledge Designs has continued to build on this trend, working on residential projects, corporate spaces and hotel developments for clients within and outside the country.
The Ajah facility will provide 25 jobs, with staff covering design, sales and administration. It also includes a customer service centre and a design studio with computer-aided design technology. Beyond offering products, the company plans to use the showroom as a space for learning. Ogunye explained, “Our vision extends beyond simply selling furniture and accessories. We are committed to educating our clients about design principles, helping them understand how thoughtful interior design can transform not just spaces, but lifestyles. ”
The showroom will open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays. Clients can book consultations, request home visits, or walk in to explore the collections. Parking and accessibility features are available on-site.
