Aondona Dajoh, the erstwhile speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly has been suspended for three months.
The 10th Assembly led by the newly elected speaker, Alfred Berger today suspended the immediate past Speaker, Aondona Dajoh during plenary for alleged attempt to impeach the executive Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia.
In a motion moved by a member representing the people of Kyan state constituency, Emmanuel Shimawua and seconded by the member representing APA state constituency, Abu Umoru alleged that the former number three citizen resigned his position as a result of a failed attempt to impeach the executive Governor of Benue State.

The speaker who confirmed the motion by ruling described the act as barbaric, adding that such attempt will never repeat itself for the legislative arm is solely behind Governor Hyacinth Alia to achieve his aimed goals.
The Speaker, Alfred Berger screened seven (7) commissioner Nominees with the former once whose nominations were stepped down by the former speaker inclusive.
The seven screened commissioner Nominees includes, Tiza Imojime, Kwaghgba Amande, Aondowase Kunde and T.Y Ornguga as well as Joseph Tar Jir, James Dwem and Ogwu Ameh.
