Nigerian fintech company payZeep has confirmed the expansion of its footprint in the digital payments sector, positioning itself as one of the leading providers of seamless and secure financial solutions.
The company said it had been working behind the scenes for the past three years to redefine digital payments in Nigeria. Its offerings range from point-of-sale (POS) solutions to financial applications designed for businesses, institutions, and government agencies.

It noted that its mobile point-of-sale device, known as ‘Smallie,’ had been a game-changer, reducing reliance on cash transactions, enhancing convenience, and streamlining financial operations in the transportation sector.
payZeep stated that all its POS and mPOS devices were equipped with contactless ‘Tap and Pay’ technology, allowing businesses and consumers to complete transactions without physical card swipes or cash handling.

According to the company, this ensured faster and more secure payments while addressing the increasing demand for digital financial solutions. The company also noted that it held key regulatory approvals, reinforcing its leadership in the fintech space.
It stated that its Payment Solution Service Provider license enabled it to facilitate seamless online transactions, while its Payment Terminal Service Provider license allowed it to deploy and manage POS terminals across Nigeria.
In addition, the company stated its agency banking approvals had helped expand financial services, particularly among young people, ensuring that more Nigerians could access banking services without visiting traditional bank branches.
payZeep affirmed its commitment to broadening access to cashless solutions that drive efficiency and financial inclusion. The company partnered with the Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria.
