SHE SAID MAYBE (2025)

Mavi Simsek was a pretty young lady who had been dating her boyfriend for a while, she knew he wanted to propose but wasn’t sure when and how. Her boyfriend on the other hand kept trying to propose but didn’t want to blow up his cover. When the first plan failed, he decided to take her to Turkey to propose, but little did he know that their world was going to change on arrival in Turkey. When they arrived at the airport, they had a luxury car pick them, they went on a boat cruise and were taken to a luxury house that looked like a castle. Well, you will need to check out the movie to find out if he finally proposed, who financed the luxurious welcome, how Mavi met her new wealthy family and how their relationship went south. I would say that it wasn’t a bad movie after all, and it made me smile, the only question that was running through my mind was how they knew she was coming to Turkey, but I guess that will be a question for another day. ADOLESCENSE (2025) SERIES

For those who follow me you know I struggle with series, this new series have been trending on as one of the top 10 series on Netflix for a while now, the movie has already worn series of nominations and awards and Owen cooper have won several awards already for this spectacular movie. Jamie Miller was a 13-year young boy in this movie. Jamie was a very quiet boy, he was a perfect child, that one every parent will ask for. He was always home either in his room reading or in front of a computer, he rarely spoke or had interactions with other kids, he was always by himself. His parents adorned him and always allowed him his space to breath, honestly what could go wrong. Until one faithful day the police breaks into their home and accuses their perfect son of murder, it was a huge shock for them as they could all lay their lives down for Jamie, that he could never have done that nor anything wrong, honestly, he looked like the innocent perfect child. Well, you have to go check out this movie for yourself to find out if Jamie actually committed this murder or he was just accused falsely. Honestly will have to pay more attention in parenting their kids these days especially with the introduction of social media. The 4 episodes mini series averaging 1h long was created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, they featured actors like Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper, Faye Marsay, Amelie Pease and many more.

COLD COME THE NIGHT (2015)

For some weird reasons Netflix is taking us down memory lane back to 2015, I guess we have no choose to watch throwback movies concurrently ever week now. In this new movie a very dangerous notorious criminal by name Topo comes into a new city, on arriving at the motel he decides to take a motel owner and her daughter hostage after encountering an unethical policeman, whom he comes across when his associate murders a prostitute and refuses to return his money, you will need to go check out this movie to find out if he was able to vindicate himself and if he claimed back his money. The 90m action thriller movie was directed by Tze Chun, they featured actors like Alice Eve, Logan Marshall-Green, Ursula Parker, Erin Cummings, Sarah Sokolovic, Leo Fitzpartrick and many more.
