APGA CANDIDATE CALLS FOR CANCELLATION OF GUBER RESULTS
Osaro Onaiwu, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate has called for the cancellation of the Edo State Governorship election over alleged irregularities.
The APGA candidate in an interview with newsmen alleged that there was no election across the entire state.
Onaiwu, added that thugs snatched ballot boxes used in his polling unit.
He also alleged that huge financial inducement of voters by some parties’ officials was done in the open.
“From Ologbo, Oluku and in many places, there were irregularities. They took the ballot boxes and ran away. INEC should cancel the results. This is not the democracy we labored for. This is not the democracy we want to leave for our children.
“You can see desperation around by both the APC and the PDP. We are calling for absolute cancellation. There is violent everywhere. Edo South constitute majority of the voters. Orhionmwon alone canceled the results of the whole of Edo Central. A lot of people were disenfranchised. There were gun shooting and intimidation. Edo people wanted to make a change but the PDP and APC did not want to allow it”, he alleged
