The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on the occasion of his 59th birthday, describing him as an exceptional leader and loyal party man whose life and career continue to inspire many Nigerians.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, the APC said Shettima’s remarkable journey from the banking sector to politics has left “indelible footprints on the national promenade.”
The party highlighted Shettima’s years of public service as Commissioner, Governor of Borno State, and later as a Senator, before assuming office as Vice President, noting his “unyielding devotion to the pursuit of excellence.”
“As Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, your unwavering support and loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, have been crucial to the steady strides and success of the administration’s transformative Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement read.
“On behalf of the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the National Working Committee, and party members nationwide, the statement further prayed for more years of health, wisdom, and strength for the Vice President.”
“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency!” the statement added.
