The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed a purported schedule of nationwide congresses circulating on social media, describing it as fake and unauthorised.
In a statement issued on Sunday by Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, the APC said it did not release any timetable for its 2025 congresses or related activities.
“Our great party wishes to clarify that the purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorised by the party, and should be disregarded as fake news,” the statement read in part.
The document titled ‘APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities’ had been widely shared across various social media platforms, suggesting the party had fixed dates for ward, local government, and state congresses ahead of its national convention.

Morka urged party members and the general public to rely only on official communications from the APC’s national secretariat for verified information.
