Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will take on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a sensational heavyweight bout on December 19 in Miami.
According to the organisers, the fight at the Kaseya Centre will feature a staggering £140 million prize pot, split evenly between Joshua and the 28-year-old American.
Anthony Joshua, who has weighed over 250lbs in each of his last five outings, will need to cut down, while Paul weighed around 200lbs in his last fight.

The British Boxing Board of Control has previously stated that such a matchup would not be sanctioned in the UK.
The bout replaces Paul’s cancelled exhibition against Gervonta Davis earlier this month, scrapped after Davis became embroiled in a legal dispute.
“This isn’t an AI simulation. This is Judgment Day,” Paul said. “When I beat Anthony Joshua, every doubt disappears. To all my haters, this is what you wanted.”
Joshua returns to the ring for the first time since his knockout defeat to then IBF champion Daniel Dubois in September 2024. The 36-year-old said the Miami fight represents a fresh start.
“I took some time out, and I’m coming back with a mega show. It’s a big opportunity for me,” Anthony Joshua said.
“Whether you like it or not, I’m here to do massive numbers, have big fights and break every record. Mark my words, I’m about to break the internet over Jake Paul’s face.”
Joshua added, “Jake or anyone can get this work. No mercy.”
