Arzikin Noma, one of Africa’s leading agri-business firms, has entered into a landmark partnership with EPE PMART SPA in Algeria to strengthen agricultural precision and production efficiency across its value chains.

The agreement, signed in Algiers by Ugochukwu Oguike, Arzikin Noma’s managing director, and Moulahcene Atmane, executive director of EPS will provide for the supply of advanced agricultural equipment designed to scale up production and enhance farmer productivity.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Oguike said the partnership would enable Arzikin Noma to expand its work with smallholder farmers, supporting them to produce high-quality produce that meet the growing demand of populations across Africa and beyond.

He described the agreement as a significant step in implementing the company’s vision of precision farming, efficiency, and food security.

Also, Adeoluwa Adesola, Arzikin Noma’s group managing director and chief executive officer, hailed the collaboration with EPE PMART SPA, noting that it underscores the critical role of private sector partnerships in addressing Africa’s food supply challenges.

According to him, food security is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and by working with credible international partners, Arzikin Noma is taking concrete steps to empower farmers, expand productivity, and reduce post-harvest losses.

Over the years, Arzikin Noma has built a reputation as a trusted partner to thousands of smallholder farmers. It works directly with farming communities to increase productivity and improve livelihoods by providing access to quality seeds and other agricultural inputs at affordable prices.

The company extends credit facilities to farmers who may not have the financial strength to purchase inputs and offers training and extension services that promote modern, climate-conscious farming techniques.

Beyond production, Arzikin Noma guarantees farmers an assured market for their grains, helping them secure fair prices and avoid waste. Its high-capacity processing facilities ensure grains are cleaned, packaged, and distributed efficiently to off-takers.

In further supporting farmer welfare, the company has also collaborated with the Central Bank of Nigeria and Mastercard to introduce debit cards for farmers, allowing them to engage in secure, cashless transactions and promoting greater financial inclusion in rural communities.

With this new partnership with EPE PMART SPA, Arzikin Noma is set to strengthen its reach beyond Nigeria, equipping more farmers across West and North Africa with the resources, technology, and market access needed to drive food security and economic growth.
