The Steve Sunday Karimi Education Foundation has announced the commencement of a scholarship scheme for students of Kogi State origin in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
The foundation disclosed this on Wednesday, stating that 1,390 students of Kogi West Senatorial District in public tertiary institutions will benefit from the bursary award, as it stated that under Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award, 1000 students from Kogi East Senatorial District and 610 students from Central Senatorial District studying in public tertiary institutions across the country will be awarded the bursary.
According to the foundation, the bursary award will commence as from August 1 to 31, 2025, noting that each of the successful beneficiaries will receive one hundred thousand naira only (#100,000).

Recall that Sunday Steve Karimi, senator, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, while marking his second year in office last month (June) announced the bursary award and assured that it would benefit students from the three senatorial districts in Kogi State.
