Oba Adetona, who passed away on July 13 at the age of 91, was laid to rest the following day in Ijebu-Ode.

The President couldn’t attend the burial ceremony, following his other national engagement involving the death and burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who also died on the same day, as the late Ijebu monarch.
