Punch Newspapers has announced a leadership shake-up in its Advertising Department, with the appointment of Ogungbemi Oluwakemi Linda as the new Manager and Head of Advertising.
Ogungbemi replaces Blessing Maeyfort, who previously led the department. Also affected by the reshuffle is the position of Deputy Head of Advertising, which will now be held by Imeh Inoh, succeeding Wasiu Kehinde.
The management change, which takes effect immediately, is part of a broader internal restructuring aimed at repositioning the Advertising Department for greater operational efficiency and innovation.
Both Ogungbemi and Inoh are long-serving professionals within the advertising and media space, with track records in campaign strategy, client servicing, and media sales performance. Their appointments are seen as a move by Punch to strengthen its commercial leadership and align more closely with the demands of Nigeria’s evolving advertising market.
Industry analysts have welcomed the development, describing it as a “forward-looking step” by the organisation, which has consistently ranked among the country’s most trusted news brands.
Management thanked the outgoing Head of Advertising, Blessing Maeyfort, and her deputy, Wasiu Kehinde, for their years of dedicated service, noting that both played critical roles in shaping the department’s success over the past decade.
Punch Newspapers is one of Nigeria’s leading media organisations, publishing across print and digital platforms, and engaging millions of readers across the country daily.
