Seyi Asagun, the Chief Executive Officer of Entourage Integrated Trust has said that the bank’s priority has always been financial inclusion.
In a statement to the media, Asagun noted that the bank designed loan products to work with real businesses and real people, not just spreadsheets.
Asagun pointed out that Entourage Integrated Trust is a microfinance institution that has been quietly building a reputation for consistency, trust, and scale in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving microfinance landscape.
“With a presence in 29 states and a decade-long track record, Entourage is positioning itself as one of Nigeria’s most impactful microfinance institutions.
He said that Entourage’s hybrid model combines field officers embedded in markets and communities across Nigeria with digital platforms.
According to him, “This approach allows the institution to address a critical gap in Nigeria’s financial ecosystem: access for the informal sector. Many of Entourage’s clients lack collateral, bank statements, or formal credit history, but they are traders, artisans, and micro-entrepreneurs – the backbone of the Nigerian economy.
“Entourage’s operations now span nearly three-quarters of the country, rivalling more digitally visible competitors in geographic spread. The company’s field agents engage directly with clients to manage applications, disbursements, and repayments, ensuring a level of personalized service rare in the microfinance sector,” he emphasized.
He further said that recognizing the shifts in consumer behaviour and the growing demand for convenience, Entourage is investing in digital platforms designed to appeal to younger, more tech-savvy entrepreneurs and salaried workers.
“The plan is not to abandon its grassroots model but to layer digital innovation on top of its physical presence.
“Entourage Integrated Trust’s strength lies in its measured, long-term approach. The company has focused on building a loyal customer base in underserved areas while preparing for a future that blends its human-centric service model with modern technology”, he added.
