Bala Sale, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State, has said that African Democratic Party (ADC) will not and never be a threat to their ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Bauchi, Sale, who is also the Chairman of the Concerned Movement for Democracy of Nigeria, Bauchi State Chapter. Said ADC have no place to stay in Bauchi.
According to him, ADC is not a party like its counterpart, the All Progressives Congress (APC); they are just like a union or association, as their name implies – an alliance of political parties, but not a party like the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with its complete structures in all 774 local government area councils.

He explained that only PDP has existed since its creation in 1998 and has never changed its name or allied with any political party. All its members are under the umbrella of the party, unlike APC and now ADC, which were all brainchildren of PDP that left the party due to their selfish interests.
Sale said that with only one year left before the 2027 general elections in the country, and the party (ADC) not being known to the common man in Nigeria, how do you expect them to win elections without a single structure on the ground across 774 LGAs in the country? He said some of the ADC members were formerly members of PDP, and the party had done everything for them, making them who they are today in the limelight of Nigerian politics, but they decided to move out of the party to join the opposition.
“I’m optimistic that ADC would not succeed in their quest to run this country,” he said. He believes that the only party that can save Nigeria from its current situation is the party of the people, and that is the PDP, coming 2027 in the country.

“I’m calling on Nigerians to forget about ADC and APC and come and join the only party with a clear vision, mission, and credibility to save this country,” he said.
PDP has ruled this country for over eight years, and people witnessed the development during its regime and enjoyed the dividends of democracy in all ramifications of social amenities, infrastructure, job opportunities, and maintenance of peace and security of the nation.
“I believe in the leadership and capacity of Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State; if given the opportunity, he has the capacity to lead this country. He has demonstrated it as a one-term Senator, Minister for seven years, and now governor for 6 years as well as the chairman of PDP Governor’s Forum,” Rambo affirmed.
