World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) An affiliated collaborating globally to empower world economic development by creating innovative financial instruments for innovators, start-ups, and SMEs. The forum interacts with leaders in all areas of society, first and foremost in business and political spheres, to help assess needs and establish goals, bearing in mind that the public interest is of paramount importance. G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) The Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) is an inclusive platform for all G20 countries, interested non-G20 countries, and relevant stakeholders to carry forward work on financial inclusion, including implementation of the G20 Financial Inclusion Action Plan endorsed at the G20 Summit in Seoul. Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is the Honorary Patron of GPFI.

What is the agenda of the World Business Angels Investment Forum in Nigeria?
The World Business Angels Investment Forum is the largest business angel network. Its agenda in Nigeria is to connect Nigeria to innovative smart financing or financial instruments.
World Business Angels Investment Forum goals includes the bringing together of policymakers, investors, innovators, artists, entrepreneurs, development finance institutions, ecosystem enablers, private sector leaders to explore innovative financial approaches and smart capital deployment.
Another goal of WBAF is to create innovative and inclusive financial instruments that early-stage startups can raise capital through. WBAF has access to capital markets around the world. Selected startups and scale -ups pitch their businesses at the stock exchanges to global investors and the public to raise capital. The shares of these startup businesses are publicly traded for the first time to raise substantial capital.
On the 7th of May 2024, WBAF selected startups and scaleups pitched their businesses on the global fundraising stage at the London Stock Exchange. The Global Fundraising Stage is an international co- investment platform supported by the World Business Angels Investment Fund.
Covid 19 pandemic has posed an economic challenge for startups and scaleups to access smart finance. As part of its global agenda, WBAF developed an innovative smart financing that focuses and responds to this economic challenge – through the global fundraising stage, an international co – investment platform supported by the World Business Angels Investment fund.
The ultimate goal is to create a high quality portfolio with some of the world’s most promising startups, scaleups and at the same time create opportunities for co- investment and follow on investment.
WBAF, other goal is to connect the best startups and scaleups, which are typically funded companies in the process of raising €50,000 – € 3,000,000 with the aim of globalising.
