Unilever Nigeria has announced the appointment of Ibrahim Sodipe as an executive director, effective July 1, 2025, in a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange.
The Board welcomed Sodipe to the new role, expressing confidence in his capabilities and wishing him success in his leadership journey.
Sodipe brings over 13 years of diverse experience in the financial sector. He has held key roles across Unilever’s global operations, including Financial Controller for Unilever Maghreb (covering Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia), Commercial Finance Business Partner for West Africa, and, recently, Head of Finance at Unilever Ethiopia.

He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Before joining Unilever, he had previous experience at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited and SIAO.
An important and distinguished figure at Unilever, Sodipe cultivated a high-performance culture, driving profitability and leading business transformation efforts across West and North Africa. His contributions as a member of the Unilever Investor Board (East and West Africa) have been central to shaping regional strategy and portfolio expansion.
With previous experience at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited and SIAO, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
