Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce (NiDCC) has appointed Folajimi Daodu, the founder and CEO of Vault Hill as a board member and the chamber’s chief strategy officer.
Daodu confided in BusinessDay that the appointment letter was signed by Patience Ndidi Key, President & CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce (NiDCC).
NiDCC cited Daodu’s “extraordinary ability to merge innovation, enterprise, and immersive digital experiences to solve complex global challenges” as the core reason for this strategic appointment.
The chamber also emphasized alignment with its vision to embed forward-thinking strategy, technology integration, and systemic impact into the Chamber’s future. His leadership in AI, Innovation, smart ecosystems, and digital transformation was seen as vital to helping NiDCC bridge Africa with the global economy, he told BusinessDay.
As chief strategy officer, his role includes leading NiDCC’s global strategy and digital transformation efforts; advising the President and Executive Council on institutional expansion; overseeing multi-sectoral initiatives intersecting diaspora capital, innovation hubs, and inclusive trade.
Other roles include designing and deploying impact programs, AI-powered membership systems, and strategic partnerships; representing NiDCC at global summits, policy forums, and investor roundtables; spearheading the innovation roadmap for smarter diaspora engagement and investment; and architecting long-term KPIs, outcome dashboards, and transformation models for scalable diaspora commerce.
Folajimi Daodu who is a visionary leader in AI, blockchain, and immersive technology, said he is deeply honoured by this appointment, which took effect on May 21, 2025.
